Founder & Chief Executive Officer | Board Chair

Seretha McField-Gibbs serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors for Bear Down Community Investment Group NFP. She is a visionary executive leader with deep expertise in operations, business development, and community revitalization.

She also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of McField & Associates, Inc. (M&A), a Plainfield, Illinois–based strategic business advisory and construction management firm founded in 2014. M&A is a certified DBE, BEP, MBE, and WBE organization delivering high-quality construction project management, regulatory compliance, and operational consulting services.

Under her leadership, M&A partners with C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, enterprise organizations, developers, and public sector agencies to provide disciplined execution, regulatory insight, and performance-driven solutions—ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with measurable impact.

Seretha holds an MBA in Real Estate Development from Roosevelt University and a BA in English (Writing) and Psychology from the University of Illinois. She is deeply committed to advancing sustainable and inclusive economic growth in underserved communities and is recognized for a leadership approach grounded in collaboration, mentorship, and scalable economic impact.
